Community Activities
The citizens of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington, as well as neighboring towns enjoy many community events, activities, and organizations.
Throughout the year residents of Lewiston, Idaho and Clarkston, Washington homes can attend quality performances at the Lewiston’s Civic Theater. In addition, The Idaho–Washington Concert Chorale and the Washington Idaho Symphony Orchestra offer outstanding performances throughout the area.
The Center for Arts and History offers a variety of art shows with both local and regional artists specializing in a variety of mediums. It also hosts readings and lectures from various authors and speakers. Various other art include The Valley Art Center’s annual Snake River Showcase in November, featuring works from local artists.

Sports enthusiasts in the LC Valley enjoy watching, playing, and even coaching softball and baseball. There are many tee-ball, little league, and Jack and Jill leagues to join as well as high school, and college games to watch. There are also several tournaments, including the annual NAIA World Series.
Team sporting opportunities are available to school age youth of Clarkston, WA and Lewiston, ID homes through public schools, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Lewiston and Clarkston, and Lewiston Parks and Recreation. Some of these activities include basketball, soccer, volleyball, and flag football. The Lewiston Parks and Recreation also offers adult flag football, 3 on 3 basketball, soccer, and volleyball.
There are various social and fraternal organizations including the Elks, Eagles and Good Sam’s Clubs. Local churches provide opportunities for worship, friendship, and service.
